Edmund Durfee

About Me

        My name is Edmund Durfee, I have been working in IT since 2014, specializing in manufacturing systems. I have worked in manufacturing in many roles since 2010. Throughout my career I have learned a lot about manufacturing systems, and what it takes to keep a plant running efficiently. In administrating manufacturing systems I have also learned how to manage the IT infrastructure it takes to support the systems. Aside from supporting manufacturing systems, I have also developed custom manufacturing tools when needed. The tool I developed that I'm most proud of is a digital "paceboard". The "paceboard" is a single-page application that runs in the browser of a smart TV placed in front of a workstation to display the hour by hour performance, OEE, and quality information of the workstation.
